GUENPIN HOUZENJI SOUHONTEN is the original flagship of the Guenpin group, set on a small street near atmospheric Hozenji Yokocho in Namba. The restaurant is best known for fugu, unfagi and crab, prepared by licensed chefs in a traditional setting.The menu centres on multi-course meals and à la carte options featuring blowfish sashimi, grilled eel, tempura and seasonal seafood. Weekday lunches and dinner seatings are available, with the compact, lantern-lit dining room giving the meal an old Osaka feel.
